职位描述
DUTIES andRESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Carry out hospital policies andprocedures, provide ongoing surveillance fornosocomial infection andcommunicable diseases as outline in the Infection Control Policies andensure that infection control issues addressed in policy are scientifically sound.
2. Provide education in infection control andinfectious diseases, serving as a resource to other hospital andinfection control practitioners andphysicians.
3. Collection, evaluation, anddissemination of epidemiological data.
4. Liaison to the Ministry of Health/Health Bureau andensure the hospital comply with health bureau infection policies.
5. Monitorresistant pathogens （MRSA andVRE）, isolation precautions forappropriate implementation anddiscontinuation.
6. Ensure appropriate infection control practices during construction andrenovation projects within the hospital.
Participate in making policy andprotocol of infection control.
7. Collaborate with quality andother stakeholders to ensure that all policy andprocedures as it relates to infection control meets JCI requirements.
8. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCES, SKILLS andABILITIES
1. Associate degree orabove of Nursing
2. Minimal 5 years of nursing and/orInfection Control working experience
3. Knowledge of health bureau infection control policies, standard definitions of nosocomial infections, targeted resistant microorganisms anddisease transmission andappropriate isolation procedures, etc.
4. Good English communication skill
