甘肃卫生职业学院是甘肃省******一所医药卫生类高职院校。其前身是创建于1935年1月的甘肃省立助产学校，学校坚守医疗战线，几经蝉变，甘肃省卫生学校、甘肃省中医学校、甘肃省医药学校、甘肃省农垦中等专业学校先后加入，游子归家，携手奋进，走出了一条由小到大、由弱到强的职教奋进之路，赢得了社会的广泛赞誉和认同。

GansuHealthVocationalCollegeistheonlyhighervocationalschoolofhealthsciencesinGansuProvince.ItsoriginscanbetracedbacktotheGansuProvincialMidwiferySchool,foundedinJanuary1935.Overtheyears,theschoolhasundergoneseveraltransformations.GansuHealthSchool,GansuTraditionalChineseMedicine(TCM)School,GansuPharmaceuticalSchool,andGansuNongkenSecondaryVocationalSchool,thesefourschoolswithsimilareducationaldirectionsandmajorshavegraduallymergedtoformalargerandstrongercollective,workinghardtogethertoearnwidespreadrecognitionandrespectforthevocationaleducationeffortsinsociety.

2024年以优秀等级完成省级首批“双高”建设。现有兰州新区、兰州市城关区盐场路、兰州市七里河区西果园、武威黄羊镇4个校区，占地面积1537.92亩，全日制在校生1万余人，教职工总数635人，教学、生活、体育等配套设施齐全，办学条件良好。

By2024,thecollegehassuccessfullyfinalizedGansu’sfirst"DoubleHigh"(high-levelhighervocationalinstitutionsandmajors)constructionprogramandachievedanoutstandinglevelintheassessment.Itnowhasfourcampusesintotal,includingmaincampusinLanzhouNewAreaaswellasbranchesonYanchangRoad,XiguoyuanAreaandHuangyangTowninWuwei,covering1,537.92acres.Thecollegeboastsmorethan10,000full-timestudents,635facultyandstaff,andwell-equippedteaching,living,andsportsfacilities.

学校开设有临床医学、口腔医学、中医学、针灸推拿、护理、助产、口腔医学技术、医学检验技术、医学影像技术、药学、中药学、藏医学、康复治疗技术、老年保健与管理、中医康复技术、智能医疗装备技术、眼视光技术、医学美容技术等18个专业，形成了门类较为齐全的卫生健康高职教育专业群。其中，护理、口腔医学技术两个专业被教育部认定为《高等职业教育创新发展行动计划（2015—2018年）》项目骨干专业建设项目；护理、口腔医学技术、药学、助产等4个专业被甘肃省教育厅认定为甘肃省职业教育高职骨干专业。

Amongthese,NursingandDentalTechnologywereaccreditedaskeymajorsunderChina’s"InnovativeDevelopmentActionPlanforHigherVocationalEducation(2015–2018)".Additionally,Nursing,DentalTechnology,Pharmacy,andMidwiferyweredesignatedasprovincial-levelkeymajorsbyGansuProvincialDepartmentofEducation.

学校坚持科研兴校，构建了“院士进校园、博导入课堂”的学术交流机制，打造科研品牌，在国家社会科学基金、国家自然科学基金、中国医药教育协会重大攻关项目中不断创造佳绩，有力有效支撑了学校内涵发展。

学校与国内大学广泛开展合作，与北京大学、兰州大学、甘肃中医药大学合作办学，开设有护理、医学影像、医学检验、口腔医学等专业本科层次成人教育，形成了大专与本科并存、普通教育与成人教育并存的多元化办学模式。学校致力于职教出海，积极响应“一带一路”倡议，先后与日本、德国、菲律宾、巴基斯坦、伊朗等10余个国家的高校和机构建立了合作关系，打造“中日介护（养老护理）”人才培养合作品牌，开设护理专业“中德班”，共建“中德国际卫生职业教育师资培训交流基地”与“中德国际护理人才双向实训基地”，与菲律宾亚洲圣多米尼克学院、巴基斯坦巴哈瓦尔布尔伊斯兰大学、伊朗库姆医科大学签订合作协议，亚洲圣多米尼克学院将学校作为“一带一路医学教科研基地”，巴基斯坦大使馆为学校颁发“中巴教育国际合作突出贡献奖”。
