A. Overall Purpose Of The Job

The position is mainly responsible for

Medical technologists conduct medical laboratory tests, experiments andanalyses to assist in the diagnosis, treatment andprevention of disease. Under technical supervision performs a wide range of procedures in all general areas of the medical laboratory including chemistry, serology, andmicrobiology procedures; anddoes related works as required.

B. Key Responsibilities

Receives specimens fromlaboratory orobtains specimens directly frompatients andmakes quantitative andqualitative analysis.Prepares stains, reagents, media andsolutions necessary forthe performance of all laboratory tests.Conduct analyses of blood, urine, cerebrospinal andother body fluids to determine their relation to various physiological andpathological conditionsCultivates, isolates, andidentifies pathogenic bacteria, parasites andother micro-organisms. Maintain the lab equipment andtrouble-shooting. Clean anddecontaminate lab devices.Performs andverifies internal quality control procedures anddocuments discrepancies. Perform test calibration anddocument the calibration.

· Conduct regular proficiency testing.

Prepare andprocess referral lab results.Establish procedures forthe analysis of specimens andformedical laboratory experiments Collect paternity DNA specimen forcontracted Embassy Perform drug abuseurine （DAU） test andbreathe alcohol test forcontracted company. Dispose of laboratory waste properly in compliance with international andlocal guideline.May supervise andtrain other medical laboratory technician ortechnologists andother medical laboratory workers;

· Assist andconsults with medical staff regarding ordering andresults of laboratory tests.
· Assist with laboratory inspections foraccreditation; prepare records andreports associated with the functioning andaccreditation of the lab.
· Continuous Quality Improvement/Quality Analysis.
· Maintain monthly reports forreview with the laboratory supervisorormanager.
· Assist in writing andrevising policies andprocedures as needed; revise lab procedure manual as needed.
· Develop andintroduce new test procedures when appropriate.
· Participate in clinic andstaff conferences （including case conferences orother medical presentations）.
· Other duties orprojects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

· Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist （检验师）by a nationally recognized board/agency （required）.

· Basic oral, listening ,speaking ,written skill in English
